Completed Mystery Quilts
Here are pictures of our completed mystery quilts. What is a mystery quilt? It’s a quilt that you make without knowing where you are going. It’s a great way to experiment with techniques that might be outside your comfort zone or to use up scraps. Usually instructions are revealed in a series of clues over a period time – daily, weekly or even monthly.
The fun in a mystery is seeing how others interpreted the clues and sharing your pictures in Make Believe Quilters. And possibly winning a door prize! You probably won’t finish the entire quilt in one day, but that doesn’t matter. I generally will leave clues/tutorials available for a week or more, and you can always print them out.
There is normally a mystery on New Years Day and Super Sunday, along with surprises here and there. Some have been converted to paid patterns, but most are still free. Just click on the picture below for more information.
