Like the Appian Way, this log cabin quilt is built piece by piece. It was designed for my guilds’ “50 Shades of Gray” challenge. The challenge was to use just shades of black, white, and gray with ONE other color used as a spark.

I ended up choosing the border fabric first, then picking colors from that print to use in the quilt. Lots of detailed instructions and full color graphics make this pattern a breeze.

Finishes about 50″ x 50″.

Skill level: Confident Beginner.
