Remember “Mary’s Violet Eyes Makes John Sit Up Nights”? It was the mnemonic we all learned to remember the planets. (I used to add “Planning” to the end of this – until Pluto was demoted.)
This dramatic quilt is made using Northcott’s Universe fabric collection and features the 8 planets on the center panel, surrounded by more celestial bodies, astronauts, space shuttles, stars, and deep space.
Finishes about 86″ × 95″, perfect for celestial viewing. This large pattern has every block clearly explained but I would still recommend it for intermediate quilters.
